Here’s a secret about people or groups who email me for requests to advertise on my channel. If the email contains @gmail.com or @yahoo.com or any other free email provider I junk them right away.
WHY?
Because it shows a lack of professionalism.
To be clear, I don’t think people with a free email account are NOT professional. I did the same thing when I first started a business but at some point you have to pivot and take your business serious.
I learned this a long time ago when I started up my Amazon business. I got 1000x more responses when I moved away from the free gmail account to my personal domain in my email address.
The problem?
It costs money to buy the domain AND you have to pay for the email domain service.
I use the Gmail Suite of products and it costs between $8.99 – $12.95 for this service.
BUT…here’s something I learned yesterday.
Unstoppable Domains is not offering ANYONE who purchased their .crypto or .zil domains from them to now be able to use those domains as their EMAIL SERVICE ADDRESS…or so I thought.
I have DANteaches.CRYPTO so, my email (I thought) would be DANteaches@crypto as my email! How cool is that!!!
This would have looks SUPER professional and very slick but…
As I went through the instructional video, the person in the video stated, “You can type in your .crypto address and use that as your email but for this I’ll be using the @unstoppable.email”.
Long story short, I CAN use danteaches.crypto@unstoppable.email but cannot use danteaches@crypto. This might have been an oversight on my part but if YOU believed what I had originally thought then hopefully I have saved you some time in this quick write up.
